Coronavirus Response + Strategy

We, like so many Americans, have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our country and the world. We know that every decision we make impacts the people we love, our teammates, customer, communities, and understand that lives have already been greatly affected.    At this time, we are closing the majority of our stores based on COVID-19 guidelines and recommendations.  You may still shop online and book a virtual appointment. Our Designers are available to work on projects via phone, email, or virtual meetings at customer preference- simply contact your designer directly or use our online appointment system via ffav7272.com.

天天捕鱼The most important thing for us is keeping our extended Bassett family safe, which includes our customers. With safety in mind, we have made important changes to respond to the threat of the coronavirus and help prevent the spread of the virus.  We are adhering to the  guidelines as well as information from local health organizations for recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. Our actions include:

 

  • Specific instructions to our employees on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick or are returning from an area identified as posing a coronavirus-related risk.
  • We asked employees who have traveled to at-risk locations or have been in contact with others who have exposure to self-quarantine and work with local health officials as needed.
  • Our stores, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers have increased cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
  • Per recommendations, we are canceling large meetings and store events. We look forward to re-engaging in these formats with our local communities in the coming months.

FAQs

Are Bassett stores open? Are there limited hours?
At this time, most neighborhood stores are closed, however, virtual appointments are available. As the situation progresses, we will monitor closely and will email and post updates as necessary. We look forward to continuing to work with you on your design projects and providing quality furniture.   
What should I expect if I book an appointment?
Currently, virtual appointments are still available. Your designer will reach out via email and schedule a time to share ideas and inspirations back and forth through the screen of your choice. As the situation changes, we will email and post when in-store appointments are available.
What steps will the delivery and service teams take to sanitize themselves and the product coming into my home?
Our teams will minimize any risk by using appropriate disinfecting products such as disposable gloves, wipes, etc. both before entering the home and after departure.  If you have any concerns, we will be happy to partner with you to reschedule your appointment at no additional cost.
What steps are Bassett taking to keep their employees safe?
We are adhering to the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) guidelines as well as information from local health organizations for recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus.

We asked employees who have traveled to at-risk locations or have been exposed to others who have traveled to such areas to self-quarantine and work with local health officials as needed.  Specific instructions to our employees on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick or are returning from an area of the world identified as posing a coronavirus-related risk.  
We are supporting all teammates, especially those who are at a higher risk, with work from home options or paid time off. 
What steps has Bassett taken to ensure that the imported products I have ordered are safe to be brought into my home?
Our stores, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers have increased cleaning and sanitizing procedures, including both domestic and imported goods, which represent only 20% of our product line.  Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods.  The Center for Disease Control updates their on this topic daily.
I recently placed an order. Will it be delayed?
Our makers and artisans are continuing hard at work creating your pieces.  We're currently running all transfers and deliveries on schedule.  However, we will communicate on a case by case basis as the situation progresses.   Your local store will contact you with any upcoming delay.
If I am not able to take delivery of my product due to city shutdowns or any other concerns related to coronavirus, how long can Bassett hold my order in storage?
We understand that it is difficult to anticipate when communities are able to resume regular activities.  Your local store will be your partner in any coordination efforts.
Do I need to re-schedule my in-store or in-home design appointment?
If you would prefer or are not able to keep your design appointment in person, whether in store or in home, we're happy to offer a virtual appointment instead.  Your local store design consultant will coordinate any changes necessary.
